A special product from the Lithofin range for Terracotta (the synthetic method). It is a water-based product, which is ready-for-use and contains high quality and natural waxes together with additives. Lithofin terracotta sealant forms a protective film, which has a natural sheen. The effect of this is to prevent staining on the surface and prevent penetration. Maintenance is greatly erased because at the same time the surface roughness is reduced. The appearance of the surface material is improved but it keeps its natural colour structure. The protective film is resistant to UV light and does not turn yellow with age. It has good resistance to abrasion and can be used easily and safely.
Lithofin Terracotta Sealant is for the final treatment of internal surfaces consisting of terracotta, earthenware slabs etc. where a natural wax look finish is required. Also suitable for pre-treated tiles.
Coverage: About 5-10 m2 per litre for earthenware slabs, Spanish or French carieties of terracotta (double application)
About 10-15 m2 per litre, for machine or hand pressed varieties (double application)
About 0-15 m2 per litre, for pre impregnated or pre treated surfaces.
